I started StartHER TV because I was fed up with the harmful representation of black and brown women on TV and streaming services. You know what I mean, right? All that drama, fighting, and vulgarity - it's just not what we're about.
StartHER TV’s goal is simple but powerful: to inspire, inform and empower through our content. We believe in authentic storytelling that celebrates the strength and resilience of ambitious black and brown women. We're all about breaking away from stereotypes and showcasing the diverse experiences and accomplishments of women who look like us.
It's been a journey to challenge the mainstream media's norms, but we're determined to make a difference. We're all about uplifting narratives that show the successes, triumphs, and struggles of real women. No more trauma porn or negative portrayals - just genuine stories that encourage our viewers to embrace their uniqueness and reach for the stars.
We're just getting started, and we hope you'll join us on this incredible ride. Together, we can support a more positive and empowering representation of black and brown women in the media.
